Artisan Story

Discovered and reimagined to be an authentic planter or vessel of cultural art in your sanctuary.

This Vintage Vessel was originally known as a Tínaja Tee-nah-hah. Traditionally used by the indigenous people central and southern Mexico to hold and distill a fermented alcoholic beverage, Pulque, made from the sap of the plant of the agave.

The solid steel stand was custom handmade just for this vintage terracotta vessel. We source and curate individual vintage terracotta pots, vessels, and sculptures from remote regions of Mexico. These wholly unique vintage pieces feature subtle deteriorations and color variations from decades of exposure to the elements.
