The Granada pendant light will be the center of attention in any home. The sphere shaped glass and iron pendent light has a unique costal style presence, the fully electrified pendant provide 360˚degrees of illumination with no shortage of ambiance and style. Included with every Granada Pendant is our high-quality CSE / UL electrical component kit along with brass and solid iron decorative mounting hardware. This beautiful pendant light is created by a union of master ironwork & artisan glass blowing.

The Granada is also available in Aqua glass.This pendant light and all Mediterra Pendant lights are hand crafted using sustainable manufacturing practices, handblown glass is sourced from recycled glass bottles. All Mediterra Pendants are safe for outdoor and indoor display. ♲

1 Solid Steel Ceiling Canopy simple and modern appearance; in matching finish. Includes the following UL/CSA certified internal mounting hardware for secure installation 

  • Heavy Duty Steel Cross Bar 8/32 Ground Screw - 1/4ips
  • Threaded Steel Hollow Nipple Zinc Plated - 1/4ips
  • Bronze Cast Screw Collar Loop with Ring - Antique Brass - 1/4ips. 

1 Flat Brick solid steel chain 32"in length in matching finish. Superior craftsmanship, durability, & allure.

1 Black Glazed Porcelain Medium Base E-26 Electrical Socket. Power source of 660watt Max. - 250volt Max. allows for a strong incandescent bulb or an energy efficient LED bulb.

1  UL/CSA certified electrical cable 36" in length 16 gauge(thickness), Brown jacket.

Solid Steel Pendant cap finished by hand in matching Oxidized Finish. Pendant caps include the following UL/CSA certified internal hardware that affix E-26 Electrical Socket & conceal / protect electrical lamp cable.

How It's Made

Our talented blacksmiths heat, hammer, and weld each iron bar into place this tedious process forms the iron cage. After the cage completion it is taken to the glass blowing are of our artisan studio where molten hot glass is hand blown into the iron cage. This specific glass blowing technique allows the expanding molten hot glass to protrude past the iron bars creating an authentic bulbous quality. Part of the inspiration behind the Granada pendant design comes from antique glass fishing floats. These blown glass spheres originated in Norway around 1840 and used for deep sea fishing. The Granda Pendant is a signature design and is part of the Mediterra Lighting Collection.

Artisan Story

Artistic lighting constructed through a union of master ironwork & artisan glass blowing.

The complex process requires weeks, involves multiple artisan studios, with each fábrica working in specific artisanal mediums to engineer just one pendant. Beginning at the artisanal iron working studio, lead by master welder and blacksmith Alejandro Rodriguez. The Rodruigez family work in unison to heat, hammer, and weld each steel bar in place. This technical process calls for a little math and geometry to construct the cavernous and ornate steel cages in which the glass shade will be housed. Once individual steel cages are complete they advance on to the glass blowing studio where molten glass is hand blown into the iron cage. This specific free-form glass blowing technique allows the expanding molten hot glass to protrude out past the iron bars creating an authentic bulbous quality.

    Always hesitant when shopping online, that company can actually safely fulfill fragile item. Zenwaro exceed expectation! Packaged very good. pendant light was very good quality.
