These instructions and policies are provided to individual customers and require purchasing customers full consent to follow receiving instructions and understanding of tested handling protocols before moving to the packaging and order fulfillment stage.
This authentic Catrina sculpture honors "Las Madres de la Cocina" (the mothers of the kitchen). This and all other Catrinas that Sr. Perez sculpts are kiln fired for several hours in a traditional red brick oven. All of the sculptures within our Catrina Elegante collection are original works of art, each is created to represent several different facets of life, beliefs, professions and culture both present and past.
• The Cocinera Catrina is made up of 2 pieces- Her head and flowing braid are solid with a long metal pin which inserts into the neck of the Catrina's body. Her rich blue apron is covered in red chilis each chili is hand sculpted. Her attire is inspired by beautiful and traditional dresses commonly worn by Cocineras through out Mexico and Latin America. This catrina completely sculpted and painted by hand.
