Not your average star light, the Newton Star hanging light will compliment a wide rage of different motifs and decor styles. This large pendant light is handmade from tin and aqua colored glass panes. The tin cage has an antique brass finish that compliments the lamps overall galaxy theme and design. The large isosceles triangle shaped fiery amber colored glass panes allow for a strong amount of light in your home. Illuminate your interior or exterior decor with authentic and quality made lighting, that is created through a fusion of artisan glass blowing & and master metal work. Each Newton Star pendant light is equipped with all hardware needed to install either outdoor or indoor. 

Components

Quality UL/CSA Electrical kit and decorative hardware included with each Star Pendant.

1 Solid Steel Ceiling Canopy simple and modern appearance, in matching finish. Includes the following UL/CSA certified internal mounting hardware for secure installation 

  • Heavy Duty Steel Cross Bar 8/32 Ground Screw - 1/4ips
  • Threaded Steel Hollow Nipple Zinc Plated - 1/4ips
  • Bronze Cast Screw Collar Loop with Ring - Antique Brass - 1/4ips. 

1 Black Glazed Porcelain Medium Base E-26 Electrical Socket. Power source of 660watt Max. - 250volt Max. allows for a strong incandescent bulb or an energy efficient LED bulb. Grounded for secure dimming capabilities.

Round Lamp Wire. SVT 18/2 has 2, 18 AWG stranded, bare copper conductors with PVC insulation/jacket, rated up to 105°C and UL/CSA approved.

Internal Star Pendants include the following quality UL/CSA certified internal hardware that affix E-26 Electrical Socket & conceal & protect lamp cable.  

  • Solid Brass Colonial Loop w/ Wire Way in Bronze Finish - 1/8ips
  • Threaded Pipe Stem 4”long, in matching Antique Brass finish - 1/8ips.
  • x2 Heavy Duty Hex Head Nuts Solid Brass, 3/16”in. - 1/8ips.

How It's Made

The cage is expertly shaped and soldered completely by hand. Artisan solders spend up to a week crafting just one brass and tin cage. One by one cutting, bending, and soldering before the hand-cut glass panes are individually inserted.

The pendant light's geometric patterns project subtle reflections on the surrounding walls and ceiling. Illuminate your interior or exterior decor with authentic and quality made lighting, that is created through a union of artisan mosaic glass work & and master metal working. Each Monroe pendant is equipped with quality hardware needed for secure install.

Creating individual Mediterra Pendants is a complex process. The practice requires several days, involves multiple artisan studios, with each fábrica working in specific artisanal mediums to engineer just one pendant. The cage is expertly shaped and soldered completely by hand. Artisan solders spend up to a week crafting just one brass and tin cage. One by one cutting, bending, and soldering before the hand-cut glass panes are individually inserted.
