Modern day dog breeds came about from our ancestors need for survival. History provides that dogs were used more as a highly skilled tool, rather than companions. Therefore "women and men needs" brought about all types of breeds. Breeds  used hunt, breeds used to work, breeds used for protection, even breeds used to point us in a particular direction. Sporting dogs have always fascinated our family. Their skill and intelligence, their precision sight, and undying dedication to please. This fascination with sporting dogs inevitably lead us to create the Devoted Bird Dog Sculpture.

The "Devoted Bird Doggy" was inspired by the disposition and character of all sporting breeds, it also encompasses the loving nature of all dogs.
This collection of lovable sculptures are designed by Zenwaro in collaboration with the master ceramicist Rafael Pineda in Jalisco Mexico. Each of our Devotion Doggies were designed with a different theme in mind, all of the sculptures have unique accents and sculpted elements that complement their character and authenticity.

Every sculpture, every figure is individually hand-molded from raw earth then fired within a large traditional red brick kiln that is heated naturally by wood. Every sculpture is hand painted in a variety of colors. Some colors are intensely vibrant, others more earthly in tone, some are embellished with bright silver and gold metallic paints. After the illustrative process pieces are loaded back into the kiln for the final bake. Forever bonding the colors with the clay. The Devotion collection is a true combination of old world craftsmanship & whimsical artistry.
