Inspiration Behind the Aztec Coasters
Commonly referred to as the "Aztec Calendar" is really called a "Sun Stone" or the "Stone of Axayacatl". To the ancient Aztec people, this sacred calendar depicted to them how the gods divided their time. This ancient spiritual circular symbol is the inspiration behind our hand-painted ceramic trivet sets.
