Hand Blown Glass Heart Sculptures
The neck of the glass heart exhibits a glass crown that is shaped from molten hot glass by a glassblower. The iron vine stand is solid black with a matte finish. The hollowed glass sculpture is wonderful when displayed simply as art, but functions also as a flower vase, potpourri decanter, diffuser container, or urn to contain your pet or your loved one's ashes 

About This Design...
Our talented artisans mouth blow each heart from recycled glass that is collected, sorted, then crushed and heated in large kilns where temperatures reach up to 1500*F. Once the molten hot glass is of proper consistency, it is then blown into a mold we designed in collaboration with the artist. The color dye is added during the heating process, developing the lasting color of the glass art.
The iron vine stand in which the heart sits is hand-forged by our talented blacksmiths. It consists of multiple 1/4" thick solid steel bars that are cut into specific sizes then heated, hammered, welded, and sculpted to hold each heart naturally as though vessels or vines have grown around the heart.
