Las Gatitas Catrinas or the Catwomen Catrinas are part of a very limited edition sculptures within our Catrina Elegante collection. Each with a different wild cat inspiration, pattern, and personality. This piece of cultural art is hand sculpted from raw clay, after sculpting and shaping the catrina it is then kiln fired for several hours in a traditional large red brick oven. After the kiln fire is completed, the sculpture is painted by hand in dark black with a satin finish.

• The Pantera La Gatita Catrina is made up of 2 pieces- Her head with wavy hair are solid with a long metal pin which inserts into the neck of the Catrina's body. This catrina completely sculpted and painted by hand.

This is an original sculpture was crafted completely by hand by the renowned and very talented artist Marcos Perez. This and all other Catrinas that Sr. Perez sculpts are kiln fired for several hours in a traditional red brick oven. About The Artist.
The artist M. Perez lives in the state of Michoacan and uses the untamed natural beauty that this territory offers as a constant inspiration for the Catrina figures that he sculpts and paints by hand located in Michoacán Mexico.
