Description

The Queen pendant light has an ornate handmade iron cage, it’s beautiful design has a hint of Castilian inspiration. The largest pendant light in our Mediterra Lighting Collection this clear glass and iron pendant will compliment a wide rage of different motifs and decor styles. The Queen sports a durable Oxidized rust finish, safe for outdoor use and display. Emitting an appreciable amount of light given the bulb selected stunning reflection is casted the surrounding walls and ceiling. Created through a fusion of artisan glass blowing & and master iron work. Every Piña Pendant includes our high-quality CSE / UL electrical component kit, with solid brass cable fittings and solid iron decorative mounting hardware. Available in other iron finishes and glass colors.

This pendant light and all Mediterra Pendant lights are hand crafted using sustainable manufacturing practices, handblown glass is sourced from recycled glass bottles.♻︎

1 Flat Brick solid steel chain 32"in length in matching finish. Superior craftsmanship, durability, & allure.

1 Black Glazed Porcelain Medium Base E-26 Electrical Socket. Power source of 660watt Max. - 250volt Max. allows for a strong incandescent bulb or an energy efficient LED bulb.

1  UL/CSA certified electrical cable 36" in length 16 gauge(thickness), Brown jacket.

Solid Steel Pendant cap finished by hand in matching Oxidized Finish. Pendant caps include the following UL/CSA certified internal hardware that affix E-26 Electrical Socket & conceal / protect electrical lamp cable.

How It's Made

Our talented blacksmiths heat, hammer, and weld each iron bar into place this tedious and technical process forms beautifully ornate iron cage, also allowing the right amount of light and casts a stunning shadow on the surrounding walls and ceiling. After the cage is completed it is then taken to the glass blowing area of our artisan studio where Recycled glass bottles are collected, cleaned crushed / processed then heated in large kilns reaching 1500˚degrees, the molten hot glass is hand blown into the iron cage. This specific glass blowing technique allows the expanding molten hot glass to protrude past the iron bars creating an authentic bulbous quality. We are proud to design and create functionally artistic pendant lighting using sustainable practices.

Artisan Story

Artistic lighting constructed through a union of master ironwork & artisan glass blowing.

The complex process requires weeks, involves multiple artisan studios, with each fábrica working in specific artisanal mediums to engineer just one pendant. Beginning at the artisanal iron working studio, lead by master welder and blacksmith Alejandro Rodriguez. The Rodruigez family work in unison to heat, hammer, and weld each steel bar in place. This technical process calls for a little math and geometry to construct the cavernous and ornate steel cages in which the glass shade will be housed. Once individual steel cages are complete they advance on to the glass blowing studio where molten glass is hand blown into the iron cage. This specific free-form glass blowing technique allows the expanding molten hot glass to protrude out past the iron bars creating an authentic bulbous quality.

    Absolutely stunning & fantastic customer service.

    The photos do not do this work of (he)art justice! Beautifully crafted with high quality materials, including the electrical components. It was packaged very thoroughly by Zenwaro, but unfortunately one of the 3 pendants I ordered was damaged in transit. It was replaced very promptly and communication was stellar throughout the process. You just can't beat Zenwaro’s combination of stellar service and amazing products!

    This pendant has become the center of attention in our Kitchen

    Wish I could attach a picture to this review, because words can not describe the beauty this pendant added to our kitchen with 12'ft ceilings! Came as described, fully equipped luxurious mounting hardware. Packaging exceeded our expectation, quite the presentation. The electrical is high quality, our electrician confirmed. Took him under an hour to instal with light dimming capabilities. We are so thrilled with this purchase, truly is artistic and authentic pendant light!

    This queen pendant was perfect for our Kitchen.

    I wish I could attach a picture. Words can not describe how this pendant light transformed our kitchen with 12'ft ceilings. Arrived as described and presented, the packaging exceeded our expectations quite the presentation. The chain and mounting hardware is luxurious! The electrical is high quality, our electrician confirmed and was able to install with dimmer capabilities in under an hour. So thrilled! Truly artistic and authentic lighting!

    Zenwaro ships to UK marvelously!🇺🇸🇬🇧

    Gorgeous pendant light. Craftsmanship is quality, very high end. Looking forward to hanging it in our Shepherd hut where it will be the focal point. Communication was legit throughout, professionally packaged. Thank you Zenwaro!😁
