Saracen Ring
Description
This classic piece is called The Saracen Ring as it was inspired by the chain mail armour of the Crusaders. It is evocative of Medieval times, African nomads and the romance of the sand dunes. Each little ball (called a granulation) has to be carefully soldered on by hand one at a time and gives an overall flowing texture. It has a neo-tribal feel..both ancient and contemporary. The piece in the photo has a gorgeous gemstone called Larimar, which is found only in the Dominican Republic.
It is also available in a variety of other gemstones, and custom finishes. It is hand crafted from Sterling Silver and is stamped on the back with the Mercurious name and logo and 925 to guarantee authenticity.
